I would like to create a template for favorites and create a template for panel widget.
Skel is not completely usable.
I am following this way :
1 - Create a new user
2 - copy my apps icons to /usr/share/icons
3 - Edit Application launcher as needed
4 - Configure dolphin, kate, konsole and other needed apps
5 - Configure favorites with needed apps
6 - Add to panel widget the needed apps
7 - Move desktop files (xxxx.desktop) from /home/some_user/.local/share/applications/ to /usr/share/applications
8 - Edit accordingly /home/some_user/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
You may find something like that ( this is an example )
[Containments][2][Applets][29][Configuration]
PreloadWeight=0
localPath=/home/some_user/.local/share/plasma_icons/Manage Printers.desktop
url=file:///home/some_user/.local/share/applications/Manage Printers.desktop

which should be modified like

[Containments][2][Applets][29][Configuration]
PreloadWeight=0
localPath=/home/some_user/.local/share/plasma_icons/Manage Printers.desktop
url=file:////usr/share/applications/Manage Printers.desktop

9 - Remove .cache files, mozilla files, session, recentdocuments, and other unwanted files like that.
10 - Make your own skel with a copy of all the modified user files.

Now for all new user copy your own skel over the curent new user files
11 - Create a new activityId using uuidgen
12 - using sqllite3 change current uuid with new uuid in sqlite database.
13 - using sed change current uuid with new uuid for files that are not sqllite database.

Is there a better way to do that.
