I have opensuse VM with KDE Plasma 5 running within VMware workstation pro v15.5.2. The packages/modules are up to date.

I set the screen resolution of the VM to 1280x800 but it is reset back to "800x600" everytime I logout/login KDE, reboot or I shut it down and startup of the VM.

Looking for options to diagnose and fix it properly. My current workaround is to add "xrandr -s 1280x800" as a autostart program.

have te same problem, cant change resolution, alwaey before 1s back to 800x600
on last Manjaro and Kubuntu on last VMware
