Hello, excuse my English
I have Hp envy 13 (i5, 8gb ram, 256sdd, grafich intel, no touch screen) Try Kubuntu 18.10, 19.10, Kde Neon and today install 20.04 After a few minutes of turning off the screen by the battery manager, when I touch any button or touch the touchpad it does nothing, the terminals do not work, the mousse, the phone does not connect with KdeConnect. It only remains to hold down the power button to turn off the machine. It is not always at the same time, if music is playing it does not happen, with the charger it happens less times. In syslog there is no strange error. |

did you try turning on the "Suspend Session" option to sleep? That works out of the box on my old Yoga 510.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
