Sleep doesn't work

Tue May 05, 2020 9:26 pm
Hi. Using plasma 5 on archlinux, I can't seem to be able to suspend my pc. neither with sleep button nor with:
Code: Select all
systemctl suspend -i
But this is just KDE specific as I can easily suspend in gnome or sway-wm. help!

What are your exact Power Management settings? A screenshot could help

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Sleep doesn't work

Same for me,

Just did a clean fresh install of KDE Neon Plasma 5.22.5... Followed the simple setup steps, but it doesn't sleep.
I then, disabled any Blue tooth connection, following some posts on the topic
Then, downloaded and installed xscreensav - it kind of works, it turns OFF the screen after 10 minutes, but the PC itself (Intel NUC i7, 16BiB RAM) is not asleep.

Run the command line : systemctl suspend -i , it sleeps for 2 seconds and something wakes it up again

Looking for instructions
Thanks
Alex
