Policykit KDE Agent Prompt

Mon May 25, 2020 6:29 am
Hi,

Whenever I restart my computer, the following message is displayed:
Image
I am running BTRFS RAID 10. The four devices in the RAID are as follows:
Code: Select all
desktop /home/user # btrfs fi show
Label: none  uuid: e0e5367e-0c39-4f68-aa25-0d77c7bebbc3
Total devices 4 FS bytes used 1.13TiB
        devid    1 size 949.87GiB used 587.79GiB path /dev/sdf2
        devid    2 size 949.87GiB used 587.79GiB path /dev/sdk2
        devid    3 size 949.87GiB used 587.79GiB path /dev/sdj2
        devid    4 size 949.87GiB used 587.79GiB path /dev/sde2

In my fstab, I have them all mounted by UUID:
Code: Select all
UUID=e0e5367e-0c39-4f68-aa25-0d77c7bebbc3       /       btrfs   defaults,ssd,noatime,space_cache        0 0

And df says they're mounted via sdf2:
Code: Select all
user@desktop ~ $ df /dev/sdf2
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sdf2       1.9T  1.2T  742G  61% /

The problem started when I reconnected the drives to different ports in my motherboard. If I enter in a password and click OK, it then mounts it at /run/media/user/e0e5367e-0c39-4f68-aa25-0d77c7bebbc3. So, my root partition ends up being mounted in two different places.

Obviously, sdf2 is just a part of the RAID for /. So, it's already mounted when the message is displayed. How can I make it go away? Here is some information on my system:

  • Plasma shell 5.17.5
  • Qt 5.14.1
  • KDE Framework 5.67.0
  • kf5-config 1.0

Thanks,

Rich
