Widescreen - Window Snapping Points

Mon Jun 29, 2020 11:36 am
I've just bought a monitor running 5120x1440. By default KDE has 6 snap positions (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, full-left and full-right). However, half the screen is still a lot of pixels.

Are there any tools to increase the number of snap points to say 3 or 4 across the screen width?

I have tried a couple of different tiling window managers but I don't get on with their trying to position everything. I just want to manually position windows using keyboard shortcuts as you do in standard KDE, but with more snap points.
