Hello the Kde community,

I've got a 2-in-1 laptop and I would like be able to switch from a plasma application launcher to another through a bash script.
So when I'm in laptop mode I will use a plasma application launcher (example: menu Z) and when I'm using tablet mode I will use another plasma application launcher (example: launchpad plasma).

That's why I want to use a bash script to do it (in short, make the switch). But I don't know what command line I must use or kde configuration line I must change in the bash script to do it. So, I posted this message.

Thanks if you can help me.

Hello,

I made some search on the net and I see that I must use kwriteconfig and qdbus to do the thing.

But I don't know what command lines I must use. Can you help me, please ?

Thanks.

I'm coming back.

I really want to know if there is a solution to change the application launcher (Alternatives in the start menu) but manually. With the help of a script.

Thanks.
