Hi
This is a bit odd. I've set up some desktop links to folders and have changed their icons to some custom icons.

When I log into the session the custom icons have been replaced with the default system icons. If I select the properties of the link it's still showing my custom icons, then when I "OK" the properties window my custom icons are then showing on the desktop as intended.

Then, when I after logging out of the session the next time I log in the icons are again replaced by the defaults.

Refreshing the desktop (F5) has no effect one way or the other.

When looking in the files system using Dolphin the folder icons are as I want them to be.

I've tried storing my icon files (.png) in various locations but this makes no difference. They are currently in a new subfolder of /usr/share/icons/

Any ideas what's going on here?

My system details are :-
Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Kernel Version: 5.4.0-52-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 2 × Intel® Pentium® CPU G840 @ 2.80GHz
Memory: 3.7 GiB of RAM

Thanks

Samo
