Hello Everyone!,
I'm trying to give KDE a shot after being a Gnome lifer. One things that is causing me some annoyance is that I don't seem to be able to set situational screen resolutions for my laptop, depending on whether or not it is plugged into an external monitor or not. When I'm at work, I plug into a dock and I want my screen res to go way down, to match the PPI of my external monitor, but when I unplug, I would like it to revert back to the default res. It's always worked in Gnome, so I've kind of taken it for granted. Am I experiencing something unusual, or is that not a function that is offered? Thank you for your help! -Briggs |

Each monitor has its own resolution, why would you have to change one to match the other?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
