Do Keyboard Shortcuts for Switching Layouts change XKB map?

In SystemSettings / Input Devices / Keyboard /Layouts / Shortcuts for Switching Layouts / Main shortcuts . is that setting reflected in XKB current config. Could i see it with $ xkbcomp -xkb $DISPLAY xkb.dump ?
