Is there a way or a plasmoid providing a gnome like menu launcher like the launchpad plasma, but with folders where you can group applications like on a phone? This would be very helpful, because I have many applications that installed them as dependencies. If someone is wondering I use Manjaro...

Maybe the Application Dashboard is what you want:
https://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/Application_Dashboard It looks like this: https://pasteboard.co/JM22Gjt.png Also, Simple Menu Launcher gets lots of praise: https://www.ubuntubuzz.com/2017/02/simp ... ma-59.html |

It seems you are a german speaker, so:
Danke für deine Antwort, und (wahrscheinlich nochmal) willkommen im forum! Ich kannte die beiden Starter zwar schon, habe aber die Anwendungsübersicht neu entdeckt. Simple menu kann ich nicht beutzen, da oben rechts nur abmelden und sperren angezeigt werden, und das seiht kacke aus . Ich würde mich freuen wenn man das irgendwie fixen könnte. Ich meinte aber eigentlich so etwas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpb-JZtYnBY If you don't speak german... I will translate it |

Please do not do this in an English speaking forum, there is a German speaking sub-forum specifically for that. The forum should be useful to all users, including being able to read your answer without having to ask for a translation...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I am sorry for my german text, this was very egoistic by me.
Thanks for your answer (achimbitzer) and welcome in the forum. I knew these two launchers before, but I rediscovered the Application dashboard. I don't want to use simple menu because reboot/shutdown/suspend/logout buttons are always disappearing this handlebar with Application dashboard but not optimal. Do someone know to fix it? The gnome like menu launcher looks like this but it seems plasma can't do this yet. And I would need years to program a thing like this (No C++ experience, no Qt experience, no idea how to make plasmoids, I have not much time) KInfoCenter shows me this: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.10.7-3-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-5600U CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 5500 |

hi guys,
I am looking for something like applicatin dashboard but with overview of open apps when you hit super key rather than full 'start menu'. Are you aware maybe of any widget which fits my needs. If not is there a way to modify existion applicatin dashboard so it is just like gnome overview? I think gnome overview is briliant way of dealing with your tasks and it'll be awesome to have it on Plasma as well. Just wandering if it is done already somewhere |

Questions are a bit mixed here. No, there is as yet no gnome like overview. The upcoming overview in plasma 5.24 too will not have the same functionality as the gnome one has. In gnome you can drag the applications as well as the windows to the workspaces. If you need a menu with a different layout and functionality, I'd suggest checking the kde store. There are plenty. Some have a similar desktop like style like one of the defaults in kde. https://store.kde.org/browse?cat=398&ord=latest
As for the overview. The closest you can get right now is Parachute, a kwin script. https://imgur.com/a/JPNHPFG If you get parachute, it's a good thing to get toggle parachute as well. That way you can assign a hotkey or a corner binding to launch it. https://imgur.com/a/El5C2jx

@qaws....
I quickly installed a launchpad like menu. https://imgur.com/a/O2u4azi Although I have to say, as far as menus go, you need to take a good look. There's always pros and cons. Personally I always use Cupnoodles kickoff grid. Imo, still the best in the business as far as menus go. https://imgur.com/a/bYR2CuT

I am looking for something more like gnome overview so i hit the super key and I have an overview as you used ctrl+f10. However when you start typing you stright away searching apps (just like in Launchpad) |

@E. As you notice in the parachute screenshot, there's a typable box on top. As far as what you are looking for, that's the closest you'll get to a gnome overview. Right now it's either an overview with a type box or a menu without an overview.
I didn't hit any key shortcut. Parachute isn't a default on kde, it's a custom script and I have it assigned to a corner. And the typebox is krunner so.... https://imgur.com/a/ixaHYSt
