Hi, I try to reduce mouse usage as far as possible (health and productivity) and therefore use key shortcuts whenever possible.
Several KDE programs I'm using frequently, such as krusader and kile, highlight letters of their menu items, for example, 'F'ile and 'E'dit. I would expect that I could open those by <ALT>+F or <CTL>+F etc. However, this does not work. I'm on the i3 WM. What am I doing wrong? Best regards, Robert |

Apparently you run an older version of Kile than I do (2.9.93), I see no highlighted shortcuts
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
