Powerdevil - change brightness - activates a second time

When i press the "Monitor Brightness Up" or "Monitor Brightness Down" it activates a second time some seconds or even minutes later.

The first activation(18:17:35) was intended, the second(18:19:20) not. I have no idea what could be wrong. It was like this already after the installation of Kubuntu. It seems like it activates directly after another event (in this case cron.daily) gets executed.

I use Kubuntu:
Linux name-of-PC 5.4.0-66-generic #74-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 27 22:54:38 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
