I'm a SuSE Tumbleweed user running KDE Plasma on a Dell Optiplex 7070 with three 24" monitors. I login, and to my surprise, my desktop icons are not showing on any of the monitors despite monitor 1 having both my kpanel+task manager and the desktop layout set to "Folder View" (the two latter monitors are set to "desktop containment").
Anyway, the only way I can get the desktop icons to appear is to change monitor 3 to "folder view" (which makes the desktop icons appear on that monitor) and then set monitor 3 back to "desktop containment" which seems to force the issue and makes the icons appear on monitor 1 as expected. I thought about resetting my layout settings, but I'm not sure which rc files to delete -- I'd rather not have to rework the config for my entire desktop workflow if I can help it. I'm running plasma shell 5.22.3 within a Wayland session if that matters. Thanks all! |
