I want to select the file/icon that starts with the character that I type in keyboard (just like happens in Dolphin).
I want to disable the Plasma Search that pops up whenever a key is hit when Desktop is selected.

I am not sure is it possible or not. Only this feature is preventing me to install kubuntu on my laptop.
