Unable to change display resolution

Hello,
I have just installed kde desktop on ubuntu VM. The display has resolution 1280x800px and the default resolution is 800x600px. When I change the resulution to 1200x800, it just returns to 800x600 after seconds, am I able to fix it? Thanks |
