Hello,

I am not sure about your question as you didn't provide useful details but if you are talking about the login screen of sddm. it can be easily changed from the login screen in the settings. if you are talking about the transition after logging in you can configure it in Splash Screen in Appearance settings. It is neither an image nor a gif but it is a QML code with image you can check it by your self either in /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/ or .local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/
