Hi, I am using latte-dock with a system tray that has many icons that are all white except one.
The Icon for the Seafile Client is yellow and I would like to change it to a white icon. KeePassXC for example was initially green but it is possible to use the monochrome icon in the settings of the app. I think it should be possible for users to configure different Icons for the third party Systemtray applications in an easy way. Hi!
Thats not that easy as long as your third party app does ship the appropriate file. The default icons are in /usr/share/icons, a Plasma theme needs to implement each icon itself or uses the global one as fallback. Do you already have a black and white icon for seafile? The KDE-way of handling icons is described here: https://develop.kde.org/docs/use/icons/, freedesktop.org has a more technical description on how icons are handled in themes and I think KDE-software does respect it (see Icon-Theme-Spec). |
