I have specified in system-settings>Notifications>Plasma Workspace>configure events to play a sound when emptying trash.

Image

When I test the sound, it plays, but when I empty the trash in Dolphin I get no sound. This worked fine until the last update.
The file is not being logged to ~/log/trash/trash.log either.
Can anyone suggest a fix for me?

I am having the same issue. So far I didn't manage to fix it. It looks like the event is not triggering correctly.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
