KDM Theme

I downloaded a kdm theme but I can't seem to be able to add it at Login manager.
How to add it to the menu?

That is supposedly, an intrepid issue with some older kdm themes. Extract the theme .tar.gz file using Ark. Now navigate to the theme folder. There, rename GdmGreeterTheme.desktop to KdmGreeterTheme.desktop (if the later does not exist).
Now edit KdmGreeterTheme.desktop and change [GdmGreeterTheme] to [KdmGreeterTheme].
Save the file and make a tar.gz archive of the folder. Now try adding the same.
