Powerdevil - Official KDE 4 power manager, shipped in kdebase. Split into three sections: core, configuration and interfaces:
  • KDED Module - changes all the settings, monitors everything, shows the notifications
  • System settings module - Configures the behaviour of the KDED module
  • Plasma battery applet - provides easy access to common Powerdevil functions such as changing Power profile, etc.
  • KRunner runner - Allows you to change power profile, perform some actions through KRunner

Lithium - Playground power manager, not too familiar with it. Runs in the task tray much like KPowerSave from KDE 3.

I like Lithium more, because it hasn't got such a stupid name as Powerdevil. ;-)
