Hello everybody !
Here is my problem : In KDE 3, I need to change the splash screen via command line. (I mean the splash screen after the login manager of course, not the boot splash) I think it's named "ksplash" but not sure if ksplash is not just the loading bar and its pictures without the full screen background ... anybody could confirm me that ? Anyway, my goal is : change the background of the splash screen and disable any animations or loading bars. I read that I have to put a correctly formatted Theme in /usr/share/apps/ksplash/Themes. I'd like to know if it's sufficient to install the Theme, and most important, I'd like to know WHERE to set the theme to use in the kde config files (because even after setting via the KDE control center a theme named zizozizo and running a find in all the kde config files for this string I can't find it ... ![]() Thx by advance for your answers !!!
