I'm running Mandriva 2009.0 and KDE 4.1.

When I Zoom Out to see all of my ZUIs, I apparently do not have a background (or wallpaper) set-up for this view. Is there some way I can set this background image? If so, please share.

I couldn't find a way to add a wallpaper to the zoomed out view. So probably, wallpapers are now limited to Activities only.

Hmm.. okay. Thanks for the effort and the advice.

Too bad that we can't configure this. It's not very elegant the way it is... which certainly goes against everything else on my 4.1 desktop.

Ah... thank you. Very helpful for me when I understand the thought process behind some decisions.

If you have any suggestions, please spit them out! I don't like the checkered background either. =)
(If you look at the next message, you'll see that I had a suggestion to let the Plasma theme take care of the background)

I just signed up to the mailing list and have sent my first message.

Thanks, Hans. :-)

Yes, I saw your suggestion. I think your suggestion would be the most desireable... letting the user decide how it looks.

Aside from that, I've suggested we at least get the opportunity to influence the colours of the checkerboard in some way.
