I did a right click to change my old Red Alert wallpapper to the newest Super-Mario wallpaper. I'm clicked to change color in Desktop Settings (the new wallpaper isn't fits enough, so I'm changed the color here to black).

So, after changing the wallpaper and this color my rclick menu options are slowly disappeared with a nice rollower-effect, in my Desktop Option I have just lines like this: _.

I couldn't seem to reproduce this issue. Could you supply a link to the Image you tried to use as your Desktop Background? Could you also supply the exact HTML value of your desktop background? ( Available from the Colour selector )

Also are you using any form of 3D effects?

No 3D effects used.
The image is also black with 4 mushrooms I'm still searching for the link... is this important?
The selected color was black.

All I need is a copy of the image to test locally in case the image might have damage or dimensions which caused the problem. I tried with a Black coloured background and was unable to reproduce with a standard 1024x768 image.

Thanks for the link. I tried to reproduce the issue but was unable. It is likely that this was either fixed in KDE 4.2, or was a one off event. You could try and reproduce, and if you can, it was likely solved in 4.2. ( can't be underlying libraries, we are both running openSUSE )

No it isn't solved in 4.2. Happened again. Do not ask how to reproduce - I can't.

It occurs when I'm trying to set a wallpaper from the predefined collection - from the combo box. If I select one from the File-dialog then it's changing without any problem.

If this bug doesn't exist already, could you please file one know that you know how to precisely reproduce?
