I only have the Plain style in KNotes, is there a separate package that offers a more stylish look?

You can try the Notes widget. Right click on desktop -> Add Widget -> Notes.
In Notes Settings, it has a couple of themes. |

I think, he is talking about the knotes application rather than the notes plasmoid. In fact I have only a plain style, too. You can find it starting knotes, right click on the tray icon -> Configure KNotes -> Style

Yes I'm using KNotes, maybe I should try the widget too.
I used to be on fedora and there I could choose a more stylish look for KNotes, I don't know why I don't have one on ubuntu, I thought maybe a special package was missing, something like kde-extra-styles or something. btw I'm a she ![]()

I know ![]() I myself prefer the widget over knotes for the styles it offers. |

In fact, the notes widget is much more stylish than knotes, but it saves the data in the file /home/leo/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc while knotes saves in a proper specific file.
This makes possible to put this file in a "dropbox" or "ubuntu one" folder and turn knotes in a powerfull on-line sticky notes program. This is the reason i prefer knotes. But it is looking like **** in kubuntu (kde 4.3.1)... Is there any way to change the style of it as the first post asked? |
