I just upgraded to 4.2 from 4.2 RC and I've noticed that the kicker isn't transparent anymore. Not even with Oxygen.:thumbs_down:

The panel ( it is no longer called kicker in KDE 4 ) is only transparent if 3D effects are enabled, in particular the transparency plugin I believe.

Ah, sorry, just getting to know KDE. I've enabled 3D effects and they work just fine. - And for some reason it works now... ![]() |

I don't think you even need the transparency plugin. Just enabling Desktop Effects should do the trick.
