Iḿ using Fedora 10, KDE.
I have to disable anti aliasing for korean fonts (gulim) and enable it for others. (otherwise they look ugly).
I just copied ~/.fonts.conf configuration from there http://wiki.ubuntu.org.cn/index.php?tit ... _and_Alias

It look all right then, but this doesn't apply to all applications. Why is that?

All applications should obey it, However they usually need to be restarted completely ( some applications go into the background, so logout + login would be best ) for it to take effect.
