It will be available globally but it will require the decoration to actually implement it. There is no way for KWin to know how the decoration wants tabs to be displayed, only the decoration itself knows that.

Great, I hope it will not behave like the xbar for bespin, which only works for bespin style.

Also QtCurve is in the process of adopting this feature.
