I'm not sure if I should post this in this section. Well, i hope admins will forgive me,
![]() I have installed Kweather since it seems there are no Debian packages of any useful weather applet of the many I've seen on Kde-look. Well, the matter is that I can't even find a way to launch Kweather, no menu entry,"command not found" in konsoles, nor any relatively recent enlightening info on the net. Does anyone know if this misterious program serves for anything? I suppose nobody wastes its time for writing useless software, so I guess there must be a way to at least make Kweather run... ![]() Thanks

Oh, I thought Kweather showed weather prevision for several days. Well, I guess if nobody knows if this app's existence has any sense I'll remove it as well. Thanks |

There is a weather forecast plasmoid as well ( at least in Trunk ) which is capable of displaying 5 day weather forecasts, as well as some current conditions as well.

Is there a weather plasmoid in existence that can sit in my panel without taking up bucketloads of space? Kweather was great for that. |

It works beautifully in the tray, displaying your current weather conditions as the icon in the tray ( or in my case a unavailable icon ) and popping up when clicked to display the full Plasmoid
