I old days of KDE3 keyboard switcher had a nice feature "cycling" on pair (Latin/SomeOther) layouts from variety of active keyboard layouts. For instance, here in Ukraine we use 3 layouts: USA, Ukrainian and Russian. Usually we need only 2 layouts in document or in console: USA/Ukrainian or USA/Russian switched by key combination. Layout pairs can be switched by clicking on panel icon. Switching trough 3 and more languages by key combination is very very uncomfortable.

So, dear developers, could you please re-implement old KDE3-like behavior?

Feature requests can be filed at bugs.kde.org. Please ensure that the feature request has not already been filed, or that the feature is not already present in newer versions of KDE 4 ( KDE 4.2 is the latest ) than you currently have installed, before filing one.

Note: Please ensure to check the "Layout Switching" category under the "Advanced" tab in Region & Language > Keyboard Layout.
