Folder icons indicating its content

Sat Mar 28, 2009 1:04 am
In KDE 3 there was an option for making folders use especific icons depending on their content: if a folder contained audio files the icon would change to show a folder with some music related drawing, if the content was video files there was an icon with a film drawing (I think to recall). All this was done automatically. Is there a similar option for KDE 4? I haven't seen anything like that in System Setting.

Try View>Preview to see if that is what you are after.

Not actually; the "preview" command shows tumbnails for the files. What I meant is Konqueror, or Dolphin in KDE 4 to show folder icons that use the appropriate folder icon according to said folder's content.
