vertical/horizontal maximize

Sat Mar 28, 2009 7:27 pm
Downloaded Kubuntu 9.04 Beta and wrote a LiveCD.

Booted and tried KDE 4.2.

One thing I missed. It may have been there and I couldn't find it.

The ability to middle or right click on the little box on the right end of the top window bar to maximize vertically or horizontally.

Has that been eliminated or just changed??

If eliminated , I will truly miss it since I use it all the time.

It's still there, maybe it's just disabled. You can configure it under Window Behavior -> Titlebar Actions (under "Maximize Button").

The standard KDE still has it enabled by default. I don't see why a distro would want to disable it, it's not like it's used for anything else.
