KDE 4.2.69 - ekey doesnt work

i installed today KDE 4.2.69 but now when I press button ekey nothing happend. Shift+e, Ctrl+e, Alt+e work corectly. What can I do?
i found out that in same places ekey works few times after pressing different letter.

Please ensure that KDE is not setting your Keyboard layout. If it is, try disabling that, then logging out and in again.

See comments 52 and 53 of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171685 . The comments are completely unrelated to the original bug report but it seems the person had the same problem as you.

Hi,

Maybe i know whats your problem with KDE. Please go into your KDE System Settings and then on "extended" .. "administrative services"

Uncheck "KDE services on startup" KHotKeys

.. take a look after...your "e" will be back ;-)

..and please forgive me for that english, it's not my favourite language, but i hope it was helpfull!
