[SOLVED] PopUp Menu, USB-Stick

Wed Apr 15, 2009 6:03 am
My Sytem:
OpenSuse 11.1
KDE 4.2.1

After I installed the new digiKam (Version 0.10.0), everytime I mount a USB-Stick this PopUp Menu open:

I don't like this. How can I fix this?

Do you use the standard device notifier or the supercharged one?

[SOLVED] PopUp Menu, USB-Stick

This is because more than one actions are available for the device. An editor for these has been added to KDE 4.3 ( Shameless self plug ) which will allow you to remove them easily.

OT:
@toad
You are living in an interesting Country: British Antarctic Territory.
Do you really live in the Antarctica from the South Pole, or it is a joke? Are you some kind of a researcher?

Unless you want to try remove a system file.
Remove the file $KDEDIR/share/apps/solid/actions/digikam-opencamera.desktop then run kbuildsycoca4.

It would have been nice, if during the first time the device is accessed ie on mounting time the popup menu with digikam is shown and on subsequent accesses its opened with dolphin
