Hey folks,
is there a way to tune / theme the knotify4 pop up in kde 4? I want to have it as a semi-transparent black box in the upper right corner, just like this: ![]() (os x app_notifier) ![]() (new ubuntu 9.04 jaunty jackalope notify). is there a way to make the notify popups behave like i want (something like theming or so)? greetings cha |

As far as I am aware, KNotify does not support theming.
Changes to support this would have to be made directly in KNotify.

Now correct me if I'm wrong here, but it should be possible to get knotify to behave like the OP wants: 1. Make sure the plasma-theme used is semi-transparant (say glassified). Maybe changing the color-style to suit if necessary. 2. If having the pop-up in the upper-right corner is necessary, set up a panel on top of the screen with the systray on the far-right.

Yes, that would be a possible method to achieve what is desired ( for the second screenshot only )
