HI..
I am very new to KDE, and ubuntu. I recently installed the KDE desktop; previoulsy i used GNOME. I have an annoying desktop display/ graphic (please see Image http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=Pq1uZkdJ ) that i cant get rid off, on the TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER of my desktop. It appears to be a graph of some sort. It is unclickable; and is always on top of other windows. I have failed to remove or in any way manipulate it. If i log into the GNOME, its absent and there is no problem. Only when i use KDE. Any help would be appreciated on how i can remedy this. Thank you. That's a Kwin effect. You can disable it in System Settings -> Desktop -> Desktop Effects -> All Effects -> Uncheck "Show FPS" under "Tools".
Was it enabled by default? :-S
