Hi all, in my day to day I'm used to open, save, etc. a lot of files but I've realized that in some cases, the dialog to do so is not always the same: in one cases it has the aside preview enabled, in others it's disabled, there are ones with the icons at 16px and others with icons at 32px, and so on.
So the question is, is there a way to globally configure this dialogs? I've been playing with kdialogrc but without success. |

Any standard settings like this will likely be located in the KDE User Global configuration file ( kdeglobalrc )

Thank you very much for the suggestion but still didn't solve it.
Finally I've set a Kwin rule to make all dialogs with the substring "Open" have the same size, but can't do anything with the icon sizes and previews as it seems like every application saves it's own settings in its configuration file and doesn't replace it with the settings of kdeglobalsrc. Should this be considered a bug? |

Unfortunately it is either a bug or intended, which could be possible since some applications have previews, etc.
