Will it ever happen that the oxygen icon theme will be available in 5-6 different colors so that it would fit better everyone 's favorite color scheme?
Or even better, could it be possible to devise an utility that once the user specify a basic color for the icon theme, then this adjusts accordingly? |

You can do that in systemsettings -> appearance -> icons -> advanced

but this change colors of all icons including 'non-kde icons' for instance firefox, or amarok to the color..., I wanted to change onlyt he theme colors (folder, arrows...)
is there an easy way to do that? |

Do you mean only icons that are not application specific? In other words, icons that would show up in several apps such as folders, download-icons, rss-icons, and so on. If so, then I am not aware of an easy way except changing the entire icon-theme. Not sure what you mean when you say Amarok is non-kde though...

I think he means icons from outside the oxygen-icon-theme.

Any icon loaded outside normal KDE infrastructure ( ie. not using KIcon ) will not be affected by this.
