I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to disable or configure quick keys in kde. I'm trying to disable the ctrl+tab feature that selects desktops.

Go to Systemsettings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Standard Keyboard Shortcuts
Select a shortcut and set it to "Custom" and "None".
Or look at Systemsettings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts
and do the same (you have to select an application, for your case it's KWin).
