Hi,
I'm running kde 4.3.2 on mandriva 2009.1 with a normal screen resolution of 1440X900. I tried running a game, dungeonhack, but I could not exit the game properly and had to reset the Xserver. Now when I log into KDE the screen starts at 1440X900 but then switches to 1024X768. How do I fix this this? What file in KDE causes this change? Thanks for any help? |

The KDE application responsible for changing the resolution is called KRandRTray.

Apparently this app is not on my system and when I tried to install it, the
system says no application by that name....Is there a different way to start it? |

KRandRTray may also be known as krandr, and should be available if you have the 3 modules listed in System Settings > Display. Make sure you have the kdebase-workspace package installed.
