Hi,
I was just curious: Is there a way to replace the right-click-on-desktop menu of kde with an "applications" menu, sort of like the "use default kmenu" menu? I never ever use the entries of the right click for anything, really. Shame for something as easily accessible. ![]() Thanks. |

cheers mate! I'm so falling in love with kde4 since it is slowly but certainly regaining the kde-strength of customizability.
To some thats Eye-Candy, to me it's usability. Making the desktop be the way I want it to be. |

Great work! That would be so sweet to have.
May I suggest something? Only some brainstorm, right now: Display "favorites". This is something you get in the kde-menu: "add to favorites". Now why not use that as primary list. By doing so, one could keep the kde-menu "syntax" correct even with this mode. So, the right-click menu would be equivalent to the Mainmenu: right-click - Fav1 - Fav2 - Fav3 - Fav4 - ... - Seperator - Applications > - Places > - History > - Quit > Just came to my mind, not really thought of all the consequences (or the workload it would cause *g*) cheers. |

I'm not the developer of this - it would be better if you suggested such things in Brainstorm.

Oh, I see.
Well, since you are a mod, how about just moving this whole thing, then? *g* |
