Hello,
I have a small SSD (40GB) with my OS and a large hd with my music, video files etc. When I delete a file from my large hd the file is copied to my trash folder on my small SSD. I don't like this behavior because it's so much waste of space on my SSD and not even all files fit in the trash. Is there a way to make deleted files from the large hd stay on the large hdd and files from the small SSD stay on the small one? Thank you. |

This is a long standing issue I believe with the trash:/ implementation. If you mount the larger drive anywhere ( say under /media/ ) then you could symlink ~/.local/share/Trash to a location on that drive as a workaround.

Thanks, this workaround works good for me.
