I have a small question:
I can't find a way to set the top bar to be always on top. I can disable autohide but when I open a window it covers the bar and I can't see the close button or other info.
Is there a way to make it "always on top"?

Have you tried the visibility setting "Always Visible"? Also, does this affect all applications?
