Overlay on Aurorae?

Sat May 08, 2010 7:53 pm
I've been working on actually implementing an old theme concept called Olympic, posted about 2 years ago for KDE4.1 release or so :P

Anyways, I am having a tiny bit of difficulty, and it's in implementing the swirls in the top right and the half-radial gradient on the left side of the window. As I've been sort of taking a stab at the plasma theme for this as well and know plasma supports an "overlay" image, is this type of thing possible in the Aurorae engine as well? It should be noted that I can't accomplish this effect in Plasma either, since it would be two overlays, but I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas on how I might implement this properly. Thanks!

overlays are possible, there's a few themes on kde-look that uses it. Multiple overlays, I'm not so sure, you could draw the circles and/or the light gradient on the top elements though :)
