How can I increase the size of the multiple desktop windows icons?
I generally use four and sometimes five or six, but the icons on the panel are waaay too small (as you can see in the screen capture below). http://upquick.com/linux/kdepanel.jpg How can I make each one stand alone on the panel? |

Thanks for responding, John ... but I still can't find it.
Where is the "folder" to which you refer? I've searched all through "Configure your desktop" -- "Look and Feel" -- Desktop -- etc., etc., but can't find still can't find the settings to which you refer. Joe |

You title is a bit confusing, I thought you meant desktop icons first, but looking at your screenshot it seems like you're referring to the Pager widget (the one showing your virtual desktop), correct?
From your screenshot it does look very small. I would try to remove it from the panel and add it again to see if it helps. If not, try to change desktop theme (judging from your screenshot it looks like Glassified which works correctly here). What do you mean by "How can I make each one stand alone on the panel?"? Do you want to make it show one row? In that case, right click on it -> Pager Settings -> Number of rows: 1.

Thanks again, John. That was the solution I needed.
You're right. My subject line was confusing. I don't use any desktop icons, so I kind of disregard them. In the body of my original message, I did refer to the icons on the panel, and referred to the jpg screen capture ... but the subject itself certainly was confusing. But your solution: right click on it -> Pager Settings -> Number of rows: 1. was just what I needed. Many thanks. Joe |

Okay, I've added the word "Solved" to the subject. I assume (hope) that is the correct way to mark this issue as solved? |
