some time ago I tried making KDE look like Mac OS X, that didn't go entirly as I wanted it so I gave-up on it, I found that without a dock it just doesn't look the same and I could get a dock on linux but I just don't like them as much as the dock on OS X (or XWindowsDock on Windows)

so: I want to make a Windows 7 theme, but one like Windows 7 with Aero.
I have found some window borders, but those where like Windows 7 Standard (e.g. the default theme for when Aero doesn't work or is not available (started edition)).

I have found several Aero-like themes, but most of the once I can find for that are for KDE3.x, and I use KDE4.4

I have found a workspace and window-border theme as well as a cursor theme that are not entirely accurate but do look nice.

what I really can't find at all are two things:
Icons and a Window-Style.

so I was hoping if anyone knew themes for these:
Icons
Window-Style (e.g. the buttons, menus etc. etc.)

and better once for:
Cursors.
Window Borders.
Workspace.

if a separate theme engine is needed that is ok, but I would like to know which and where I can get it for Kubuntu 10.04LTS.

Use the Aurorae Theme Engine, look for the seven theme in GHNS for the window style. Then you can get the Smooth Tasks plasmoid for the task manager without text. I'm sure someone must have created a plasma theme that looks like win7, although I actually find myself preferring the default KDE4.5 theme.

thanks, that did improve the theme a lot, the seven theme is more accurate then what I had :)

still need icons and window style though, the only seven theme I can find is a window-border.

Currently no widget style supports transparent chrome in a non-experimental manner.
