Hi,
After a recent KDE upgrade my Krusader 2.2.0-beta1 got into a habit of starting on login: once on the first login, twice on the second and so on. When there are five instances of Krusader first thing after logging in, it's funny no longer. ~/.kde4/Autostart is empty In ~/.kde4/share/config/session files like krusader_a_long_trail_of_digits are multiplying; deleting them doesn't make any difference: they get created again. Any suggestions? |

This should stop it from happening, but not what is causing it
systemsettings -> startup & shutdown -> session management -> on login -> applications to be excluded from sessions -> add krusader what's in: ~/.config/autostart |

you could try the techniques here to clean out all temp and work files http://userbase.kde.org/General_KDE_Pro ... _KSnapshot
-> remember to remove the files after exiting kde <- did the systemsettings suggestion work? |

Yes, it did. |

The link most likely refers to KDE 3 and doesn't seem to be applicable to KDE 4. Meanwhile ~/.kde4/share/apps and ~/.kde4/share/config contain nothing particularly suspicious. |
