Hi,
could anyone help me with the following problem (admittedly a marginal one)? When starting krunner with ALT+F2 no icons are shown in the window, just empty placeholders. Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-12-desktop x86_64 Distribution: openSUSE 11.3 (x86_64) KDE: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) "release 2" I am using the oxygen theme. Thanks a lot! |

Can you please supply a screenshot of KRunner in this state? You will need to use an external site such as ImageBin.

Here is a screenshot of my current krunner window (I doubt this is the way it is supposed to look):

Indeed, that is incorrect. Does it appear correct under a new user?

I tried several symbol & colour themes with no result.
However, the icons do appear when working under a different user (?). |

Try removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER when KDE is not running.

I removed the var/tmp/kdecache-$user in terminal mode. Still no icons.
I also tried removing .kde4/share/config/krunnerrc which didn't work either. (I don't know if it is of importance but there is a strange entry under [TaskDialog]: "headerState=\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x..." and so on). |

What Plasma theme do you have set as in use? I assume you are using Air? ( As set in System Settings > Appearance > Style > Workspace in 4.4 and earlier )

Currently I use "Aya". I already tried "Air" and other ones. Surprisingly, sometimes some - not all! - of the icons do appear after changing the theme, no matter which theme I choose. Can't see any regularity in this...
