Hello,

normal i can kill the X-Server with <strg> + <Alt> + <del>

Now i have install Kubuntu 10.10 Maverick-Alpha with KDE 4.5.0
and ich see with this Shortcut the will logout the KDE session.

Hmm, okay KDE developer will that so :-\
But i cannot find any buttons in the Setting where can kill the X-Server.

And this is by Alpha or Betatest very importend for me ;D

Can anyone help me to find it,
or is this complete delete in the Systemsetting?

PS. sorry for my ugly and terrible english :<

It is Ctrl + Alt + Backspace, not Delete

It is located (as before) in
System Settings -> Input Devices -> Keyboard -> Advanced -> Key Sequence to Kill X Server -> Ctrl + Alt + Backspace

Cheerio!

It is not in Global Keyboard Shortcuts. See the attached screenshot.

No problem :)

I have no idea why is it turned off. Specific things like that tend to get disabled lately. I heard that some distros even turn off the SysRq codes...
