Hi,
my pc is: - kernel: 2.6.34 -- distro: slackware 13.1 --- kde: 4.4.3 ---- kbd layout: it ----- kbd model: generic 104 key pc ----- kbd scheme: kde default for 3 modifier keys and i've some troubles using kde4 shortcut keys to launch applications. 4 example, set "WIN + F" to launch firefox nothing happen and the same is if i set "CTRL + F" or "ALT + F" to do the same job. The strange thing is that "default system" shortcuts such as "ALT + F1", "ALT + F2", "CTRL + F1",...ecc works. ![]() Could you help me?

If you open System Settings > Input Actions, is KMenuEdit enabled?
KDE Sysadmin

bcooksley,
it's incredible! Really really incredible! I've read at least 1,000,000 times the "input actions" tab and i've never saw that there is KMenuEdit flaggable entry! Anyway, "the problem" was this so now shortcut keys to launch applications run. Thank you. ![]() |
